Session Description
The session ‘the fifth transport mode: state of play 2021’ will present the current state of development in the state-of-the-art approaches to the fifth transport mode. As well tube transport, pipelines and hyperloop are going through changes culminating in new approaches and projects. These alternative modes and the Physical Internet have a lot to offer one another. The session will go into the current developments and how network thinking is the way forward.
